Dream Big

Ahhh, June. The time for graduations and convocations. The time for building excitement for summer vacation and first jobs. The time for dreaming of lazy summer days spent at the pool or lake, and equally lazy nights spent around a bonfire with good friends.

It’s this dreaming of whatever is to come next that inspired this month’s theme – dream big.

I look at all the teens graduating from high school and young adults convocating from University, and I remember bursting at the seams with anxiety and excitement for what was to come when it was my turn.

The big dreams. That was what was to come, and is to come for this year’s graduants.

I can’t help but be inspired at this time of year to get back to dreaming big for myself. I’ve not done so in a really long while (is this part of getting older?!). Shameful!

My resolution for this month is to set out to dream big again. To shove my internal logic monitor aside and let my imagination and heart run wild. The bigger the dream the better! 😊
