Day Dreamer, Night Thinker

Growing up, I was taught being a day dreamer was bad. It meant you weren’t paying attention. You weren’t doing what you were suppose to be doing. You’re time wasting. You’re living in a fantasy world.

You get the picture.

Day Dreamer, Night Thinker

Well, guess what? I believe wholeheartedly in day dreaming. In fact, I say day dream all you want. I get some of my best ideas day dreaming!

I find it healthy to day dream. It provides an outlet for my creativity, keeping me sane when I feel like I’m overflowing with ideas. Day dreaming feels inspirational to me.

Reality and practicality hits at night and my brain overloads with all sorts of thoughts. I churn on the issues and concerns of the day and stress out a bit. Or a lot, depending on what’s happening.

So that’s me – a day dreamer and a night thinker. How about you?
