The holiday-ish theme for December is – “follow your own star.”
With the holiday season upon us, I’ve been loving all the lights shimmering and sparkling around the neighbourhood. They’re like little twinkle lights leading my home.
The north star is our ultimate twinkle light leading us home. There it sits almost perfectly still while the whole northern sky moves all around it.
We can’t always see the north star but we know it’s there, guiding us and comforting us in its steadfastness.
It makes me sometimes wonder – do I have due north in my life? If so, what it is? What is the “star” guiding and comforting my life?
